                                     [Blazer, Dress, Accessories: Forever 21, Tights: Target, Heels: Steve Madden]

    This past Friday was my birthday, so I went out with some friends. We went to a few different places and danced until we could no longer feel our feet. It was perfect.

    I had a few gift cards to Forever 21, so during the day I went to pick up something to wear (hence several items being from there). I love pairing feminine pieces, such as lace, with edgier pieces like the blazer. It was fun to get gussied up and go out for a change. Overall, a fun night.

    Weekend Shopping Inspiration

    [J Crew Blazer $188UO Sparkle and Fade Sweater $48Forever 21 Handbag $ 21.80Gap Scarf $24.50]

    Going out this afternoon for a little birthday shopping, so I thought I would post some inspiration. I’m hoping to find some cute Spring pieces, as the weather will be warming up soon. These are just a couple of items I stumbled upon and admired.

    Have a great weekend - and happy shopping!

    Spoonful of Sugar

                                                                  {Alice + Olivia / Chloé}

    One of my favorite seasons, Spring, is right around the corner. I’m so excited I thought I would post some inspirational pieces. I love the colors and femininity of the designs. The only downside to all the inspiration is my sudden desire to go shopping. Must. Resist.

    Out With a Bang

                      {Blazer: Forever 21, Top: H&M, Jeans: Thrifted, Necklace: Forever 21, Boots: Target}

    Yesterday I got my hair done by the wonderful JoBeth. I’ve been craving a new style, but didn’t want to completely chop off my hair. I opted for bangs and highlights and love it. I haven’t had real bangs since I was five!

    Anyhow, I hope you are having a wonderful week thus far.

    Since after Christmas shopping is very popular, I thought I would post some outfit inspiration. Since I’m usually shopping on a budget I like to find inspiration from pricier stores/designers… and then try to find similar pieces at affordable prices. Here are just a few outfits that are currently inspiring my wardrobe. Enjoy!

    Holiday Party Rush

                                        {Dress: Forever 21, Tights: Target, Shoes: Target, Headband: Target}

    So… I’m considering starting a Target Addicts Anonymous group. I’m seriously there multiple times a week. It’s a problem.

    On another note, this past Sunday night was the employee Christmas party at my work. Since I work at a university, there are thousands of staff members. It was a huge party with a lot of food and drinks. They went all out. It was a really great night and I felt very grateful to work where I do.

    P.S. - Are you a fan of tosomeonesomewhere? Show some love and spread the word to your friends!

    Put Music To Our Troubles…

                                        {Top: H&M, Skirt: H&M, Shoes: Steve Madden, Necklace: Forever 21}

    Last weekend our friends Josh & Mary Hannah got married at the Winter Park Farmer’s Market. The wedding was adorable and we had a great night celebrating their marriage. Ryan and I love going to weddings and are usually the first to hit the dance floor. I only have about three moves, but I’m ok with that.

    A Splash of Color.

    {Jacket: Forever 21, Shirt: Target, Jeans: Thrifted, Boots: Gift, Scarf: Target, Ring: Forever 21, Purse: Charlotte Russe}

    The Hubs and I went out on a “day date” Friday. We had lunch and did a little Christmas shopping… It was a much-needed day off.

    This past weekend was a nice break, but now it is back to the Monday-Friday grind.

    I hope you, whoever you are and wherever you are, have a wonderful and inspiring week.

    {In an effort to end on a “serious” note: above is me attempting to moonwalk. Boom. Roasted.}
